On Nov 10, 2020 OC Human Relations hosted Prof. Brian Levin & Dr. Kevin Grisham from the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism, CSU San Bernardino. They presented their latest findings on the trends impacting hate crime and extremism in the new decade, including data, forecasts, and a discussion of some of the fringe and white power movements impacting our nation and region.


Understanding Hate Codes

On December 17, 2020, Dr. Pete Simi, Chapman University, talked about the resurgence of white supremacist groups in recent years and how it has been characterized by efforts to mainstream hate while other adherents remain committed to a violent revolutionary strategy hoping to overthrow the government and ignite a “race war.”
