OC Human Relations provides up to 8 hours of conflict resolution services to all Orange County residents at no charge.

For the time-being, all conflict resolution services will be conducted online or over the phone – please complete the form below to request service.

Community Services:

Once we receive a conflict consultation request,  a Conflict Resolution Specialist will contact you to discuss your needs and the specific services we offer. All communications with OCHR Conflict Resolution Specialists are protected by confidentiality guidelines. Services available through OCHR include:

  • Conflict Support: Discuss your conflict with a Conflict Resolution Specialist and learn about conflict communication strategies you can use to directly engage the other side in a constructive conversation.
  • Mediation: Make arrangements for a mediator to facilitate a conversation between you and the other side where you respectfully listen to each other while seeking a mutually agreeable solution to the problem.
  • Conciliation: Have a Conflict Resolution Specialist act as a neutral go-between to carry information back and forth between you and the other party.
  • Facilitation: Work with a Conflict Resolution Specialist  to bring a group together to address a community need.

Participation in OCHR Conflict Resolution Services is always voluntary and can be terminated by either party at any time.  If you would like to discuss our conflict resolution services in more detail, please complete the following request form and one of our Conflict Resolution Specialists will contact you within 2 working days.
