OC Human Relations’ annual YouthSpeak Speech Contest is a county-wide search for the top human relations speech written by an 8th-12th grade student.

Please be sure to thoroughly read and write your speech accordingly to the following prompt: Last year, OC Human Relations launched our kNOw Hate initiative – by knowing hate, we can say “no” to hate. How can you know hate, denounce hate, and create unity in our diverse communities?

  • Please print your speech on a separate sheet of paper and attach to the entry form. DO NOT write your name, school or identifying information on your speech page.
  • A double-spaced, printed version of the speech must be submitted to OC Human Relations by: Friday, March 9th, 2018 at 5:00PM
